I made this Tinkerbell cake for my daughter’s 2 year old birthday. I baked a bundt cake and then covered it with an under layer of buttercream. I used rolled Marshmallow fondant which is super easy to work with and cheap to make (whatscookingamerica.net has a great recipe).
I made the lavender roses out of fondant and gave them a few days to dry so they were pretty stiff. I used green sugar sparkles on the skirt. I wrapped Tink’s body in Saran wrap and used some extra cake to hold her upright inside the bundt cake. The leaves are also fondant.
Then I brushed a tiny bit of gel color around the edges of the roses and the creases of the leaves to give them depth.
Thanks for your ideas
