I made this Tinkerbell Princess Castle Cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, she LOVED it! I made 2 (13×9 inch) cakes and 2(6inch)cakes. I switched it up a little bit and made the bottom layer fudge marble and topped it with chocolate frosting and put a chocolate cake on top of the marble. I put a little bit of chocolate frosting to put the 6inch cake on and then put chocolate frosting inbetween the 6inch layers.
The entire cake was frosted with vanilla frosting that I bought from the store and colored it yellow. I used cream savers to decorate around the bottom front of the castle and piped some royal frosting inbetween each cream saver. I used red licorice to outline my door and windows. I placed cutouts of princess’s which I found at party city and cut them small enough to place on inside the licorice border to have the appearance of a princess’s looking out the window of the castle.
I placed Hershey kisses all along the top of the castle. I bought a princess Tiara from the dollar store and placed it on top of the cake and put a Tinkerbell candle behind it. I made the towers out of ice cream cones. I took some white chocolate candy melts and melted them and rolled the cones in them and placed them on waxed paper to cool. I also added some purple glitter sprinkles and lightly sprinkled the cones with that.
My daughter loved this cake and is asking for another one. I also took some Tinkerbell confetti and placed it randomly on the cake board surrounding the cake.
