My friend’s little boy turned three and is really into tractors, so I asked if I could make him his tractor cake as a present. I purchased the tractor and wagon as part of his gift so he can play with it when the cake is done.
It was pretty simple. I used a cupcake for the hill and covered it with crushed graham crackers crumbs and filled the bucket with them. I used shredded wheat to look like hay bales in the trailer. The garden veggies are jelly bellie beans. I used macaroon coconut with green food coloring for the grass.
The cake I made was yellow and I used a half sheet pan. The road and garden rows is icing tinted grey/brown. I did purchase the cute little barn and fence and added those in to complete the farm scene.
