I made this small Treasure Chest Birthday Cake for my friend from work. I had made a larger one for my husband a couple of weeks before and she loved it. His was made with 3 13×9 sheet cakes so it was a lot bigger.
All I did for this one was bake a 9×9 square glass pan and cut it in half and stack it. I frosted it in chocolate to look like wood. The straps are fruit by the foot and the rivets are sixlets. I used Hershey Nugets, gold coins, ring pops, and party favors from the dollar store to decorate the chest. It was a hit and so easy to make.
HOW COOL, I LOVE IT!
