Coolest Veggie Tales Pirates Cake

I used one 13×9 pan for Larry, and 3 round cakes for Pa Grape, Pa’s hat, and Mr. Lunt. I cut Mr. Lunt a bit smaller, and cut out Pa Grape’s hat by hand. I then frosted them with the appropriate colors, adding some frosting around the edges and green sprinkles to Larry’s body and Pa’s hat for some definition for each character. The eyes and mouth of these characters is the most important, so I just printed out a Veggie Tales picture and cut them out.

Last, I added my son’s pirate things for fun: the eyepiece, the glasses, Larry’s bandanna, and then the little pirate decor all around. The picture is good but this cake was amazing in person!
