Coolest Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Cake

My husband and I made this Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Cake for our baby’s first birthday. It took about 1 1/2 bundt cakes to get just the right shape to the caterpillar.

I made the icing and just tried to swirl in the greens, etc for the body. There is a yellow outline along the top, you can’t see in the photo. The nose and antennae were cut out of chewy fruit strips (for toddlers) and the feet were kisses cut in half.

Benjamin had his own small round cake iced in white with green trim and a small caterpillar iced on top.
