I baked a 9×13 yellow butter cake for the bottom of the WALL E Birthday Cake, frosted it with white buttercream, then used the Wilton WALL*E mold for the top. The tires were the most difficult, and I used black icing with cornstarch to create the flat black look. I used red hots and Oreos to decorate some of the details (I absolutely hate making red icing!).
I was also afraid the black name plate would run, so I cut Oreo shapes in small squares, and spelled WALL*E for his name plate. Fun cake to make!
