I made this Wall.E cake because every time my 2 year old son saw the previews to the movie Wall.E he would say Wawe! I was in Hobby Lobby a month ago and came across this Wall.E cake pan, it was perfect for my son.
Their is instructions on the back, even a recipe for butter cream icing. I always make my icing a day before I bake my cake and put it in the fridge. Butter cream icing is soft and melts a little so having it in the fridge helps it stay thick and its easier to decorate with.
I first baked a thin cake to put Wall.E on a 11X15 cake pan. I used only 1 cake mix and if you want a thicker cake you will need more cake mix. For Wall.E one cake mix is perfect. I also went online and looked at Wall.E posters to design my cake like the poster so I won’t have just Wall.E.
Here is my recipe for Butter Cream Icing:
1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon butter flavor
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
I’m so happy for you Natirra! you do such awesome cakes!
