This Xbox 360 Birthday Cake was made for my son’s 16th birthday. He loves to play his video games. I figured it was a cool way of kicking off his gaming party the weekend after his birthday. He invited about 10 of his friends and they had a blast.
The System itself is two regular 9 by 13 cakes, chocolate on bottom and vanilla on top crumb coated with buttercream and then white marshmallow fondant. All the other decorations are the same fondant which I added the colors and then let them set over night so the colors would enhance.
Bake the cakes as directed on the box. Let cool completely. I froze mine for about 4 hours and then added the fondant, or you can simply make sure you have a sterdy buttercream, that is very important when using any kind of fondant.
Thanks and hope you enjoy, it took about 10 hours to make this cake.
