I made this zebra cake using two Pyrex bowls as found on this site for the nose and head, and a small rectangular Pyrex glass container for the neck. I used the “zebra cake” recipe where you pour chocolate and vanilla batter alternating to create a striped effect on the inside of the cake.
I used Buttercream frosting and used the whitening tint to make the frosting whiter, and black for the black lines that were piped on using a round tip. I tried the ribbon tip but found it messy and didn’t look as good.
The mane is soft black licorice.
