My babysitter’s son wanted a tractor cake and this hauling tractor cake is what I came up with. I baked 2 13×9 cakes and used one as the base. I cut up a small piece to be the base of the tractor and two pieces into small squares and stacked them to be the top of the tractor.
I used another piece from the cut cake to use as the trailer. I frosted the base cake with green on the sides and brown in the center. I proceeded to sprinkle crushed Graham crackers for the the center and green tinted coconut for the edges. I stacked the cake to shape the tractor and frosted that. Then added the trailer and frosted that. The wheels on the cake are fudge covered doughnuts with the centers filled with yellow frosting. The hay bails are doughnut holes covered in yellow tinted coconut.
This was a pretty easy cake to make!
