This cake is strawberry banana with cream cheese frosting. Each tier is double layered. The bottom tier is 9 inches, the middle tier is 6 inches, and the top tier is 3 inches. I used strawberry cake mix and added mashed bananas and extra strawberry extract. (Any time I want to add something else to the cake mix I save the eggs for last so I can taste the batter until I get it the way I want it, then I add the eggs.) The frosting was from a can but I mixed in a tablespoon or so of Crisco, it cuts the sweetness. I add more powdered sugar until it is thicker for decorating. The butterflies and stuff came from a local craft store.
