This was a Tinkerbell cake created for my daughter’s fourth birthday. I was inspired by all the beautiful cake on this site and used a little bit of all to create my own design.I used two 9 x 13 cakes one of which was cut in half to create the top half of the cake. Once I secured the top half of the cake with frosting I outlined what would become my flowing river. I tinted the icing blue but still left streaks of white to create the look of depth in the water. The trees were made from ice cream cones covered in frosting then topped with coconut shredding. The bushes were rice crispy treats covered in fondant. The flowers were fondant. The tree stump was made from half of the pound cake and a cinnamon roll place on top all covered in chocolate frosting.
