My daughter wanted an alien cake for her 9th birthday It turned out that my nephew,son and other daughter all wanted one to so i have made 4 of these in total . For the cake i made a Victoria sponge, i used a round cake pan and then a smaller one and trimmed it to look like an oval for the head , i positioned the cake on a board cut horizontally and filled with jam and butter cream ,then i covered it with green butter icing i them stuck on fruit mentoes lollie pops for the antenna things , different colored millions for the spots and some gummy sweets for the eyes, for the mouth i used a sour loopy sweet the peach sweets that are on either side of the head are held on by cocktail sticks i really enjoyed making this cake and all there friends thought it looked great i hope you like it.
