I had to make a “quick and easy” cake for my sons’s 11th birthday today (we have a very busy day – it’s election day, our favourite football team is playing in our hometown, and we have lots of family to catch up with for the birthday). I’m making another cake for his party next week, but wanted something simple but effective for today. His sister (9) and I made up a packet caramel mud cake recipe (his favourite) and his sister decorated it with his favourite new treats Cadbury Caramello Nibbles – yum! He’s very impressed and can’t wait to share it with family at lunchtime!
