I have taught myself how to make flowers out or setting fondant. So for my mother and my mother in-law I made them these cakes to get as much practice as possible. I made the flowers a week before I made the actual cakes and the cut out shapes. It is a very simple design but it reflects on there personality, BEAUTIFUL. I used chocolate mud for the cake and covered them with butter cream first before putting on the fondant. The flowers had size 22 gauge wires in them to help position them in the right spot.The color pastes I used for the flowers are -brown, and peach,all the rest is ivory fondant.
