My daughter changed her mind at the last minute and wanted me to make her a ‘rainbow cake’. Not sure how to do this with the limited colors of food coloring, and small amount of m & m’s in the house, I went to work with non-edible items as well as food items. We came up with a cute rainbow display that she loved. I cut a piece of cardboard long enough to stick right inside the cake and placed marshmallow clouds around it to finish it off. We used m & m’s as a border. This was the first time I didn’t have to get my fancy cake decorating tips out!
