My Grand-Daughter, Presley, is a big Scooby Doo fan. She had a skating party for her 5th birthday and all the Scooby characters came and skated with Presley and her friends!
I made the cake using three oval Wilton pans that are graduated in size. I iced the layers and then stacked them in an uneven manner. Plastic rods and cardboard were place under each layer to make sure the cake didn’t collapse from weight.
I added all the characters from the Scooby show and a mean looking figure from a McDonald’s Happy Meal to set the scene. A funky floral spray was added to the top.
I also baked and iced large “Dog Bone” shaped cookies with Scooby’s name on each one. Treats were served in dog dishes shaped like bones.
Presly loved her cake and her Scooby party was a hit.
