My son wanted a Spongebob cake for his 7th Birthday. Then he decided he needed Patrick too. I used the Spongebob cakepan as I already had it. I didn’t go by the instructions with the cake pan. I just mixed up my own colors and decorated it the way I wanted. For Patrick I used two 8″ round cakes if you want it a little bigger I would use 9″. I used the first round one for the body and used a small knife to cut out the head, legs and arms out of the second round cake. I stared the whole body with frosting used some peach coloring and used some of the frosting to hold the head, legs, and arms onto the body. I made the frosting on the pants flat and used frosting to form the eyes. As for the mouth I used a toothpick and drew it on and then went over that with the frosting. His mouth is also flat like his shorts.
