Homemade Tinkerbell Tier Cake

My daughter turned 3 this year and so far I have made every birthday cake but this year I wanted to do something different than the previous years so I decided to do a tier… I found the tinkerbell topper on a bubblebath bottle it was the perfect match for her birthday set I had purchased. I started by making a homemade chocolate cake in a 10×13 pan and cut 11/2″ off each end to square it up then made a 9″ confetti round cake to place on that. I have one of the giant cupcake kits which I used the bottom of for the top tier. As with all tiers it is easier to ice each tier individually before assembly then stack them and touch up any spaces that may smudge. I used a classic buttercream icing and pink daisy’s sold through Wilton and simply placed them together on the corners. I did the entire cake using 3 tips and it was siple using the pre-made flowers. I got my idea from several different cakes featured on coolest cakes website. Thanks everyone!v Everyone loved the cake and I’m definately going to try again on something else next year!
