My friend’s daughter works at McDonald’s. She called one day asking if I would make a McDonald cake as a going away gift for someone at work. I told her of course, bring me the smallest cup and french fry holder they had and that I would use that on the cake.
I made the hamburger out of my miniature wedding cake pans and just colored the cake mix different colors to look like a hamburger and bun with pickles etc. For the french fries I used fried flour tortillas and cut them into strips. It looked so close to the real thing it was amazing. Everyone was so shocked.
