I looked in this gallery and found a cute cake shaped like the number 8 that was a race track. I used that theme to get started. I used 2 round cake pans, and then frosted it white. I outlined where I wanted the track to be. I used a basket weave tube for the sides, and a circle tube to make squiggles for the grass. I made the flag on my computer and attached it to 2 popsicle sticks. The candles and candy flags I bought at Michaels. My son is a #88fan, so I bought that car and another one to put on the side.
