I used a lot of ideas from this website and combined them to make this sweet cake. I first made a 9 by 13 sheet cake and iced with blue butter cream for the sheet. The blanket, heads and hair are made of fondant. I used a garlic press for the hair and decorated the faces with edible markers and then used sparkle gel to make the pink cheeks.
The bodies are Twinkies cut lengthwise. I was worried about the kids disliking the fondant so I used a brand recommended by the cake supply store called Satin Ice and it tasted a lot like marshmallows. We then decorated with candy flowers and dots. This was one of the most fun and simple cakes I have ever made and the girls all loved it, especially figuring out who was who!
