I’ve received many compliments on these cupcakes. I like this idea because it’s very versatile. It works for swim parties, bear theme parties, camping gatherings, birthday parties and summer fun in general. I was looking for a theme that included boys and girls and this includes both. My children, ages 6 and 4, love helping with these cupcakes. It is great fun for them to search for the bears with their hands in the air and insert them into the inner tubes. This cupcake is very simple to make and you can use your imagination to try different looks. This is a perfect idea for busy moms who want that homemade touch. It isn’t necasary to pipe the frosting, but I like how it gives the appearence of waves and provides a clean look.
I purchased honey gram bears, gummy peach rings, box cake mix and prepared frosting. I piped the frosting using a large tip and inserted the bears into the rings. These cupcakes can be made with a variety of different colored frosting, sprinkles, wrappers, etc… I made these for a 4th of July swim party.
