My three and a half year old daughter wanted to make a “twinkle twinkle” cake for her favorite person at our church, who plays her favorite colored guitar in the praise team, for his birthday. I looked on here for a “twinkle twinkle cake” but there wasn’t anything like it. I had no idea what she wanted to do, so we went to our local cake shoppe, and I let her pick out everything she wanted to create her masterpiece. It’s a cherry cake mix in a 9″ pan, that we baked. She frosted white buttercream in the middle and did the red frosting all around. I helped give the sides texture and helped her squeeze the piping bag for the stars and around the bottom, but she did the whole thing herself. I’m so proud of her! Last came the twinkles, and she loaded them on! “Dan” really loved his cake and she was so very proud that she made it all by herself!
Beautiful cake! And it tasted as good as it looks. Well done!
Nice job Babydoll! You maybe only be 3 1/2…. but you definitely have a strong creative side! Just like your Mama…. Keep up the great work… I wish I had a piece to eat, I bet is was Nummy!
Love you!
