This bear and doll cake was for my friend’s granddaughter. I started by making a bear in brown with a cream muzzle. I then made a doll with brown piggy tails and a pink dress on. I made a vanilla sponge cake, she only wanted it covered in butter cream.
I filled the cake with butter cream and lots of jam, then covered the whole cake with butter cream and chilled for 20 minutes in the freezer. I then colored some butter cream in pink and with a star nozzle I piped all around the cake, and then I attached the doll and the bear on the top. I then cut out a large number 5 and attached two small pink flowers. To finish off I cut out some more flowers and the name and attached these to the cake board and in the center of each flower I stuck a small edible bead.
They loved the end result.
